Mystical Warriors of the Ring Reveal Designer Con Drop!

It's getting around that time.  The heat is beginning to cool off and the leaves are changing color.  It also means Designer Con is coming right around the corner, and with that, we will be getting some exciting news about new releases and convention exclusives.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring are out swinging and punching from the sound of the bell.  Released earlier today, they dropped an interesting look at one of their newest wrestling characters expanding on their Evolution line.

It's hard to tell solely from the image, but MWOTR has been working on a rhino character called Cero.  My hunch is that's what we're looking at, but more interestingly, is he coming alone?  This is the first time we've been teased with this character, yet there have been a few that have seen resin releases that haven't received the red carpet PVC like Goliath or an official set of mini-figures.

Is this where we seen some resin rhinos and some PVC bulls?  I think only Designer Con knows.

Mega Post-Kansas City Comic Con MWOTR Drop!

Hey, everyone!  My apologies if this comes off a little rushed and/or sloppy, but this one hit me out of left field.  There may have been an announcement somewhere, but I think I missed the memo.  That's on me, guys, but hopefully you're following everyone on social media as well and didn't get sidelined to the back of the line like me.

It appears the crew of Mystical Warriors of the Ring are back from KCCC, because live, at this very moment, everything they released there is now up for grabs online from their web-store.

That includes the two new colorways for Goliath, both in a lime green and an albino white, but also some rare pours of both Talos and Barker in various urethane colorways.  For fans of one-of-a-kind prototypes and very rare resins, these guys are the ones to grab up, but keep in mind, these are in very low supply, so you have to act very quick.  Maybe even the quickest, consider I'm so slow to the take today.

But do check out all the new mini-figures off their web-store.  Mystical Warriors of the Ring always makes a great product and they've always been kind to me.  Show them some love and support by checking out what they have to offer, and if you're interested, start you're very own mini-figure wrestling federation.

Leaked MWOTR Albino + Metallic Lime Goliaths For KCCC!

Hey, everyone, SpiderEarth back with just a quick news blurb.

A little while ago, the camp over at Mystical Warriors of the Ring have been teasing some announcements of plenty for their booth at the Kansas City Comic Convention coming August 12-14.  Part of the secrets were two mysterious colorways of the Goliath mini-figure.

MWOTR never suspected today one of their most confidential secrets would be leaked all over Instagram, but alas, it appears headquarters was hacked once again (It wasn't me this time!  I swear!) and now the cat's out of the bag about one of the coolest variants for Goliath.

A white colorway, SpiderEarth?  Big friggin' deal!

Fine, I'll take yours!  But really, it looks from the pictures it could be a shiny metallic white, more like a pearl than a flat white.  Also, some extra care and detail went into this white colorway.  To wrap up the whole package, Goliath has received red eye paint applications akin to other albino animals.  A cool little detail.

The second mysterious Goliath has not escaped the encrypted confides of Mystical Warriors of the Ring headquarters, but when it does, expect an update to this post or a new one.  Thanks for dropping by, and visit the links below for more information.

AUGUST 9th UPDATE:

The second elusive colorway has been revealed, and as shown it's a pretty rocking green with some flashy yellow metallics.  Another attractive colorway, I must say.

MWOTR Teases 3D Prototype of Barker The Referee!

Welcome back to Keshi Drop everyone!  I know it's been a while, but the sweltering summer heat had melted my keyboard and now I finally found the means to communicate with you all directly through the matrix.  Now I only hope I know how to get out.  Actually, the truth is, although a ton of interesting news has been happening, I felt it was a lot of the same and not really interesting enough for me to scream from the tallest mountain.

Onion Fights, in recent news, has been showing off all sorts of new stuff, new molds, and new color variants, but really, you would have gotten the same story from me.  I would have told you how much I love this studio, how gorgeous all their miniatures are, and how they rule the roost in this keshi world.  None of that changes still, but I would have also said how virtually impossible it is to get any of their stuff without a plane ticket to Japan or some serious Ebay kung-fu.  And with that, I looked at all their updates and just said "No, not this time.  Meet us half way.  At least come to a convention in North America.  At least allow those in other countries to enjoy your work by order.  Stop being cowards and act like real galactic wrestlers and do a cross-promotion with Mystical Warriors of The Ring, for example.  America versus Japan.  Put your title on the line, and then I'll say something.  Then I'll say a lot."  And while I'm pumping myself up with the idea of that, I'm going to switch that towards today's news.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring has been on tour, crashing every convention within these summer months, so it's very shocking and exciting to see they have something in the works as well.  Even with their announcer miniature and Talos evolution figure being worked on, it looks like they are not alone.  Coming to your ring to receive a single blow and then fall motionless for minutes on end, Barker the dog referee was teased over social media today, showing off this rather interesting pose.  Is he holding someones hand up in victory or is he hitting the mat for the final three count?  Right now, it's all just speculation, but it's great to see the single-mold characters getting love too.

What do you guys think?  Does this officially chime the coming of MWOTR Wave 3?  And are Onion Fights the biggest cowards in the world for not challenging MWOTR?  Or you know think they just know America is better and will always win?  Let me know by commenting below!

MWOTR Evolution Talos Prototype Leak Part Three!

A lot of work and effort is going behind the eventual release of the second Evolution minfigure.  We've been getting a lot of behind the scenes teasers and inside looks, and it's becoming increasingly apparent why.  This guy is a monster!

Teased with the removable championship title, this picture of Talos was just recently released across social media with implications that he will be making an appearance in some form or another later this month at Designer Con.

It's still very hard to say where in the production Talos lies, but with each look we get he's getting more cleaner, fleshed out, and ready to rumble.  But of course, follow Mystical Warriors of the Ring on Facebook and Instagram, as well as dropping by their website and online store for more goodness.  And if you need more Keshi Drop updates, use the tool on the sidebar to follow all the ramblings!

MWOTR Evolution Goliath Metallic Red Variant Review!

Welcome back, everyone!  Again, I apologize for the little break there, but it's always good to have a step away when things are pretty slow in the keshi world.  It's certainly good to recharge those batteries sooner than later, because Designer Con is at the end of this month and I know we will have plenty of news and drops to discuss very soon.

Today, however, we have the newest Goliath color variant from Mystical Warriors of the Ring.  It's an attractive metallic red, reminiscent of the metallic green and black variants of past drops, and just like those variants, the mix between a solid pigment and a wave of metallic shine is very nice.  I think the most appealing thing about this guy is how rare solid metallic red variants are in minifigure lines.  I don't readily recall many other keshi out there in this colorway, so this guy, if nothing else, stands on his own as a unique little guy.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring always makes some pretty solid minifigures, so go to the link below and check out all their products, like this guy and many others.  Also, for more Keshi Drop ramblings follow all the updates by using the tool on the sidebar there.

Surprise! MWOTR Evolution Goliath Red Colorway Drop!

Hot off the press, Mystical Warriors of the Ring is releasing an unannounced variant of the Evolution Goliath minifigure.  Well, I suppose it's announced now, but this was somehow squeezed in all news and releases coming to Designer Con.

This ruby red looking gator won't be hitting a convention however, but the MWOTR webstore, like before, and along side him, more resin variants of Molie in a sort of army green.

Expect these drops to hit Friday, October 30th at 12pm noon CST, so check out the links below to snag one.  Also don't forget to use the tool on the side there to follow Keshi Drop and get all the updates emailed to you.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring: Mystery Solved!

Luckily, I know my readers.  Luckily, I know I can come back here and say something like "Alright, gang, you know Crazy Uncle SpiderEarth has a couple screws loose, right?" and none will be too shocked.  Luckily, I can rely on these things, because Mystical Warriors of the Ring revealed their cryptic messages and plans for Designer Con and I couldn't have been more wrong with the guesses I made before.

Whoops!

The good thing is, however, the true reveal is actually pretty exciting still.  It was certainly more surprising, which is never a bad thing.

Coming to Designer Con, guests can partake in exclusive sets of Series One, Series Two, and the Goliath figure all in a MUSCLE Flesh Pink colorway.  Some people have noted that Series One has seen a 'flesh tone' variant already, but this release has more of a pink hue to it and compares closer to the classic MUSCLE figures.  I suppose if you need to classify the older flesh set to a classic MUSCLE variant, I would call the previous flesh a 'salmon' tone instead.

This variant is pretty fun and exciting!  I'll surely been hitting up my mule sources, and I suggest you do the same if you can't make it to Pasadena, California, November 21st & 22nd.  For more info, check out the links below, and for more crazy Keshi Drop ramblings and incorrect guessery from yours truly subscribe to the blog by using the tool on the side there.

MWOTR: Evolution Talos Prototype Leaks Part Two!

It looks like Talos has fallen into the hands of The Godbeast.  Released earlier this morning, better detailed pictures of the upcoming second figure of the Mystical Warriors of the Ring: Evolution, Talos the bull.

As it's a good-looking prototype to see coming along, it's also great news to see the figure this far into production.  Fans of MWOTR know that The Godbeast is their closer and double-checker.  He gets all the prototypes and put them under his microscope before they hit mass production.  I think many of us are surprised to see Talos this far along in his creation.

With news of the mass production model coming out, it appears some resin versions will be showing up at Designer Con this year as well.  This energetic red bull popped up this afternoon with some notice that he'll be attending in some capacity.  At this time, we can only speculate if that's just to show off or any resin prototypes will be for sale, but when news occurs, I'll certainly share it.

Production updates aside, I think we can all see this guy is going to be one impressive minifigure.  I really became a big fan of the Goliath releases all this year, but I feel this one might beat that champion.  For more news and updates, follow the The Godbeast and Mystical Warriors of the Ring on their websites and on social media.

MWOTR: Evolution Talos Prototype Leak!

More information regarding Mystical Warrior of the Ring's releases for this November's Designer Con in Pasadena, California, has surfaced.

This just in:  wax is fragile!

This also just in!  It appears Talos the bull, just as we suspected, would be following in Goliath's footsteps in the MWOTR: Evolution line.  The multi-part glyos-compatible minifigure is being worked on and it appears to be in some prototype phase.  How far along is yet to be discovered, but the picture released indicates he's made it at least into the third dimension.

I had recently covered a cryptic message from Mystical Warriors of the Ring some may remember.  I had made a few guesses as to what it means, and although this announcement seems to present a whole new lot of information, I still stand by my original guesses.  I feel this bit of news is super excited and a bonus, but overall unrelated.  If I could make a slight adjustment to my guesses now with this, it's just the inclusion of Talos with some announcement or tease of Series Three.

What do you guys all think?

Also, who do you think would win between Talos and Goliath?  Let me know with a comment below.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring AWF Championship Belt Leak!

Just leaked over social media, it looks like the guys over at MWOTR are expanding their accessories and play-set stuffs with a new functional AWF Championship Belt to scale with their wrestling mini-figures

Previously teased has been the steel cage set they have been working on, and this championship title is a great addition to that.

I think anyone growing up with any wrestling toys, from WWE guys to those huge LJN rubber figures and the mini Kinnikuman, wanted title belts and play sets to live out their fantasy matches, and finally, the wrestlers of AWF can have a title of their own.

Already released are the official ring and arena floor mat, so expect to complete the set rather soon from Mystical Warriors of the Ring.

Keep an eye on MWOTR stuff happening on their Facebook, Instagram, and their website at the link below!  And of course, check back here to Keshi Drop for more crazy stuff too!

MWOTR Neon Green Goliath/ Molie August Drop!

Hey everyone!  Back again with the official details on the August releases for Mystical Warriors of the Ring!

On August 22nd at 12pm CST, you can pop on the MWOTR web-store and trade some of your stale, wrinkly, green for some new, vibrant, neon green!  How can you say no?

And as teased, there are some extra goodies besides the new colorway of Goliath.  Some preview resin shots of the new Molie mini-figure are seeing a release too.  Molie will be officially launched in PVC when Series 3 will be done, and where Molie is the first to be announced out of a set of three to possible four, you'll have to wait some time to see him again if you miss this drop.

Molie will be seeing a matching translucent green, but there's also a surprise lot of blue and white swirled ones.  I'm not sure if they are going to be sent randomly, or the first few lucky people will have claim to them, but they are very sweet indeed.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure MWOTR has very many more, if any, mixed color/swirled colorways.

All figures will be hitting the store very soon, so clear your calendars and get ready to mash your F5 keys into oblivion.

Goliath $6
Molie $10

MWOTR Evolution Goliath Neon Green Variant Leak!

Just leaked over social media, it looks like the people at Mystical Warriors of the Ring were not done with their super sized alligator character this sweltering summer.

Coming late August or early September, Goliath will be seeing his first translucent colorway, and as you can see from the picture here, it's going to be a neon green called Neophase in the Glyos community.

This is a pretty radical drop, with the only other green variant release was the very first metallic green one that sold out in hours.  So this is a great time for collectors and fans of this figure to finally get a more natural-looking colorway, if you missed the first version.

Expect a full review when this guy hits the mailbox sometime later this month or next.  For more information, check out the MWOTR blog and web-store.

Mystical Warriors of the Ring Talos Reveal!

Welcome back, everyone!  First off, let me apologize for the little break there and complete lack of any updates after the OMFG review.  You all know I try to make as many updates here as I can, but with a busy bunch of days and just the lull of keshi happenings, I couldn't produce much.  It certainly didn't seem a week plus without a new article, that's for sure, and that's the scariest part.

Regardless, we're back and we have a huge reveal today!  Mystical Warriors of the Ring has been working on all sorts of things.  We have seen their progress coming along with their announcer character coming to Series 3, and if you've been following them on social media, you'd been catching up on their awesome steel cage play-set they have in the works too.  Even with all that, another Series 3, I am supposing, has just been revealed.

Talos, the bull character, will be seeing himself a mini-figure sometime soon, as revealed from the black and white picture above that came from their Instagram feed.  I say I am assuming him to be an addition to Series 3, but remember, he is a rather bulky, large, dude too.  He could go the route of Goliath and see himself the second character to find the Evolution treatment.

I certainly don't have all the answers right now, but you can expect when I come across more information, I'll share it right here on Keshi Drop.  But, if you can't wait for me to type it all out, feel free to pop on MWOTR's website for more.  You can even fill out your wrestling roster before Talos charges into your collection!

MWOTR July Release Reviews!

With San Diego Comic Con happening this weekend, it's easy to get swept up in all the excitement there, however there's still tons happenings across the world and interwebs to also look at.

Today, we are doing just that and looking at Mystical Warriors of the Ring's July releases, all of which you don't need to wait in a long line or travel to California for.  You can order everything we'll be going through, right now, from the comfort of your home, provided they haven't sold out.

July has been a giant month for Mystical Warriors of the Ring.  As well as revealing the upcoming Molie commentator figure, the prototype pictures of which can be seen on their Instagram account, they have released a massive drop of Series Two/Goliath goodness.

Massive drop?  Is that really the right term to use?  Sometimes I even make me scratch my head and wonder who allows me to do this.

The Series Two set saw their first alternative colorway release since their introductory metallic black version.  Barring no holds, MWOTR came out swinging with fan-favorite Glow In The Dark.  Glyos-compatible Goliath sees his third and fourth variants, also in Glow In The Dark and the new Tag Team Championship metallic bronze.

I was super excited to get the bronze variant, because I'm a glitter freak, and while he's a pretty gnarly figure on his own, I wish he was more cover-your-eyes blindingly shiny.  Like other figures of this variant, I think the base plastic, if that's actually even what it's called, is a clear PVC figure, then the bronze dust is added to it.  This creates a lot of Cat's Eyes effects all across the figure, so no two will look exactly the same.  I feel the green and black figures had stronger metallic variants, using colored PVC as a base, particularly the black colorway, which pops wildly for me.  Maybe it's just my eyes or a weird lighting trick, but I suggest picking up both the bronze and metallic black and comparing them yourself to get what I mean.

The shocker in the release is certainly the Glow In The Dark Goliath.  Many toy collectors of all sorts of format will state their favorite variant is indeed Glow In The Dark, but, as I've always enjoyed turning off the lights and seeing them light up, I've never gone particularly bonkers over them.  This Goliath, however, is just nuts.  Although you lose the detail you'd get from the other variants, this chunky beast is absolutely nuclear.  The pictures I took are god-awful and do no justice, because these Glow figures virtually glow green on their own, without light!  The Glow Goliath is that anime, super-charged, ready to attack with his special finishing attack, when you think you've finally taken him out.  Not cover-your-eyes blindingly shiny, but cover-your-eyes blindingly glowing!

MWOTR:Evolution Bronze Goliath Drop!

The team behind the Mystical Warriors of the Ring revealed their Glow in the Dark releases not too long ago, but they also said they had a secret left in reserve.

Today, they announced that secret in the form on Goliath's fourth colorway, bronze, and the first variant sold outside MWOTR's web-store.

That exact location across the inter-webs has yet to be released, but I'll have the info here when I have it.  Until then, expect this guy to hit an online store July 4th at 12pm CST.

UPDATE:  It looks like the Bronze Goliath won't be sold through a different web-store.  Like normal, purchase this guy at the MWOTR website tommorrow at noon CST.  Thanks!

MWOTR GITD Goliath Leak!

Hinted from their Instagram, it appears the team at Mystical Warriors of the Ring plan on lighting up the night sky this July in their own way.

That's right!  Goliath, their monstrous alligator character, will be seeing his third colorway since becoming a multi-part PVC figure in their Evolution line.  He's seen metallic green, black, and now I'm sure fans will be excited to see this guy in Glow in the Dark.

I enjoy Glow in the Dark, but maybe not as much as some.  However, I am more than interested in seeing how much this bulky figure glows.  He's already a pretty amazing miniature on his own, so this extra bit might actually cause this variant to be very popular.

For more, as always, check out their website and blog down here!

C2E2 Evo:Goliath Hits MWOTR Webstore Tonight!

With C2E2 winding down, we were all very curious of what quantities of the latest Mystical Warriors of the Ring release would survive.  As the picture shows, and what I would have guessed, there is not a lot left.

I'm not sure exactly how many, maybe 30-40, but that's just a guess.  Either way, they are hitting the MWOTR web-store sometime very soon, so tonight is your night if you haven't had the chance to get one of these hot gators yet.  Remember, once this colorway is gone, it is gone, so don't let it pass you by.

As of the time I'm writing this, they have not reached the website, but I would hunker down and keep a close eye for the drop.  This figure is an absolute steal at $6 and could be one of the sexiest miniature releases this year.  Not to mention, you should look at all the other good finds MWOTR has to offer.

Keshi Drop Exclusive First Look: MWOTR Series Two!

Yes!  Finally!  After six-hundred failed attempts and a half-dozen lockouts, we shameless nerds at Keshi Drop have hacked the official Mystical Warriors of the Ring database and found all the good stuff we've been waiting for!  In retrospect, of course I should have tried 'NWO4LYFE' as the password much earlier, but you know what, hindsight is always 20/20.  Cut us some slack!

Of course, I am only joking.  Truth is, somehow without any underhanded tactics or chair shots to the brain pan, we have the opportunity to reveal the first look of the brand spanking new Mystical Warriors of the Ring Series Two mini-figures, here and only here first!  Booyah!  In yo' face, Internet!  Get steppin', I'm big time now, kid!

Whoa... I'd one terrible celebrity, wouldn't I?  Maybe it's good that I'm on this side of the computer doing the typing, just so my head doesn't inflate too large and I can't lift it off the V key.  Okay, past that though,  Mark of the MWOTR crew has been very kind to us once again and generously given us the first whack with his new wrestlers, so before we dig in and take a good look at all these new guys, I want to thank Mark again for yet another awesome solid.  Thanks!  You rule, dude!

Okay, first, a little back-story for those just hopping on.  It was revealed earlier that the second colorway for Goliath would be metallic black.  Aside from it being a popular variant, there was also a secret reason why, and now we know that it's because Goliath will also match the Series Two Warriors coming out as well.

Series Two is seeing the addition of three fan-favorite characters hitting the apron for the first time.  Introducing first, Sheldon Sabre's favorite punching bag, Ulric Wolfrom, in his Issue #1 ring gear.  It's about time we had the hero of the story come to PVC, and in shiny black, the lone wolf looks quite menacing.  Secondly, we have either Leo, Leander, or anyone else from the Corazon lion wrestling family, depending how you want to customize your miniatures.  I expect this proud guy will be a very popular one, because you know us keshi collectors, we're going to have to have one for every brother and cousin until we have our own Hart Dungeon of lions.  Last but not least, we have Ulric's sister, Yvonne Wolfrom.  She's the very first female character in MWOTR and in this series we see her in her manager gear that she wears working with Lapin Loco.

The new colorway for Evolution: Goliath and the new Series Two set will going sale first at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo April 24th-26th, with any extras that make it out alive hitting the MWOTR web-store shortly after.  If you're making it to C2E2 this year, there is a great reason to track down this drop.  Not only will you have the pleasure of snagging a bundle of all the new releases, including both Series Two and black Goliath, for a scant $15, but with that steal, you'll also see army building possibilities open up for you as well.  Corazon family, anyone?

And you know the crew from MWOTR, they will have much more than just these hot black keshis at their booth.  Teased from their website, they have a new sticker of Sheldon Sabre to plaster all over Chi Town as well as the new Issue #4 comic set in the MWOTR world.  The best course of action is just to drop by their booth, bright and early, and grab 'em while the grabbin' is good.

If you can't make it to C2E2, just understand it's going to be a battle royale in their web-store.  Bookmark their site and check regularly.  Once they announce when the convention extras drop, if there are any, you'll want to write on your calendar or enter it into your planner or whatever.  You'll want to be very aggressive getting these guys.  Goliath in metallic green sold out in hours of release, and I expect the very same with this new bunch.  You'll want to be there, smashing your F5 key into oblivion, at the exact time of the exact day, because these guys are the American-version of those insanely tough convention-only keshis we really only hear about from Japan.

New MWOTR Evolution: Goliath Colorway!

For those uninitiated, the guys at Mystical Warriors of the Ring released their first super-sized minifigure last January to much success.  Just as I warn in just about every drop, the first variant sold out quickly, the same day in fact, leaving a lot of collector's without a shiny green alligator.

But announced today, both off their website and their Instagram, Goliath is back and ready to rumble for round two, and this time, he's more sicker and twisted, with that ink black heart.

Well, maybe not that far, but this new metallic black colorway is very awesome indeed, especially if you have the other figures in the toy line metallic black as well, like the ones pictured.

Goliath's first release shocked a lot of people, but not me.  Despite the early criticism I gave it, I had a strong feeling this guy would fly out of the MWOTR webstore, and he did just that, maybe even faster than I expected.   I'm glad to see this variant allows collectors who missed the first drop to finally get in on some gator goodness, but like before, you have to be on point or else you're going to be watching this one sell out on you too.

Collectors were more than impressed with the metallic green colorway, which means there is a good possibility those same customers will be back for the new variant.  I know I will be, so people who missed the metallic green need to be extra aggressive, even to the minute, when the release day comes around.

The exact time and day for the drop is slated for sometime next month, April, with also a showing at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, so I'll post more exact info when I have it.  It certainly sounds though, if you want it before anyone else, the MWOTR booth at C2E2 might be the place to be.  If you're not around the Chicago area or not travelling to attend the convention, follow the links below for your share in a virtual blitzkrieg when this guy is released next month.
