Shamrock Arrow Gearing Up For Winter Wonder Festival 2016?!

Keshi happenings might be going pretty slow for the moment here, on this side of the globe, but Japan is readying itself for it's wintertime Wonder Festival and their first for the new year.

For new readers that have not heard about Wonder Festival before, it's a toy/hobby convention that happens twice a year in Japan.  It mainly focuses on built-it-yourself plastic models and all other sorts of toys.  New keshi mini-figures, from talented Japanese artists, always seem to make an appearance as well.

From Shamrock Arrow's social media feed, I'm guessing they are doing the same.  With Wonder Festival hitting Chiba February 7th, it wouldn't be that wild to assume these ninja specialists are cooking something up.

At least from what I can tell immediately, is that this grey colorway of the first version of the Ninja Heaven keshi mini-figure looks to be completely new.  Also teased that day was the red colorway sword-variant that has made some appearance at Wonder Festivals in the past, so maybe he's seeing a reprinting of sorts.

Of course, information is scarce at this time, but I am sure more updates will be surfacing as Wonder Festival draws closer.  Also, check out both Shamrock Arrow and Wonder Festival's websites for more details.

Shamrock Arrow Wonder Festival Summer 2015 Exclusives!

And now Shamrock Arrow has revealed the goodies that they will be bringing to Chiba's summertime 2015 Wonder Festival!

We've seen their Ninja Heaven figures before in purple, black, and flesh tone, but now we can safely say red and blue will be added to the mix as well.

This is such a neat little figure, and to see them share a behind-the-scenes look at these guys is pretty fun.  Thumbs up for sure!

What do you guys think?  Are you guys enjoying the Ninja Heaven guys and everyone else from Wonder Festival this year?  Comment below with your opinions and/or let me know if I missed anyone.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shamrock Arrow Superfest 68 Exclusive Drop!

While everyone in the States are either attending C2E2 this weekend, or keeping their ears to the ground for exciting geeky news happening there, it's easy to forget Superfest 68 is pretty much happening at the same time in Tokyo.

Generally keeping to model kits and toys, Superfest is seeing plenty of independent keshi releases to keep us collectors salivating.

Superfest 68 sees the release of the purple colorway of Shamrock Arrow's Ninja Heaven miniature.  Previously made in both black and flesh tone, this clawed badass' indigo clone could very well round out anyone's keshi ninja army.

Sadly, much like a lot of Japanese convention exclusives, it sometimes is pretty hard to purchase a piece without attending.  I would still suggest you try - you never know what happens - even with a possible language barrier.

Winter Wonderfest 2015 Shamrock Arrows!

If you thought the last few drops I've covered were easy-peasy, well I have a challenge for you!
Wonder Festival is a toy convention that happens twice a year in Japan.  It's big selling point, among the sea of vendors, are the one-day license limited editions.  These guys are just that done by the amazing artists at Shamrock Arrow.

These two packs are color variants previously released at the last Wonder Festival, and include some of the more gorgeous keshi in the world.

I have limited knowledge about the Japanese studio, Shamrock Arrow, but I am already a fan.  At first, I had actually confused their miniatures as Zoomoth's, but in fact, I guess I wasn't the only one.  I've seen multiple eBay auctions incorrectly listing them as Zoomoth.  I suppose, if nothing else, it makes you wonder if it's a new studio from a familiar artist or just a team equally as talented.

Wonder Festival is February 8th, and that will be the only time these sick puppies will be able to be sold.  If you can't make it there, you'll may be looking at a giant price increase on the secondary market.  A mule would be the most reasonable option, but still these guys, and getting these guys, are hardcore.

I personally love this quality of stuff.  Zoomoth is one of my favorite studios and these guys rocket Shamrock Arrow right up there too.  I would love to travel to Japan sometime, meet the artists, and throw wads of yen at them for these gorgeous keshi, but at this time, it may not be in the budget.  One day, I hope.  Of course, when I do, I'll cover every bit of it for the blog.
